Wolfe scores twice in Buccaneers' win

The Des Moines Buccaneers won against the hosting Fargo Force 4-1 on Saturday.

The Force opened strong, taking the lead when Andre Gasseau opened the scoring after 12:17, but the Buccaneers' Mitchell Wolfe tied it up at the end of the period.

The Buccaneers dominated the second period, receiving goals from Maxim Musorov, Mitchell Wolfe (2) and Connor Pelc.

The third period was scoreless as the Buccaneers held on to their 4-1 lead and won.

The Force were called for 40 penalty minutes, while the Buccaneers spent 23 minutes in the penalty box.

These teams will soon play each other again in the next matchup on Sunday at 3:05 p.m. CST at Scheels Arena.
