WATCH: Fargo Force score winner with 3 seconds left in OT

Wisconsin commit Joe Palodichuk scored at the 4:57 mark in OT to get the Force their third win of the young USHL season on Friday.

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Fargo shook off Sioux City's tying goal late in the third period to get a 4-3 win in overtime on Friday.

Fargo's Joe Palodichuk scored on an assist from Bret Link at 4:57 of OT for the game-winner.

Sioux City took a lead with two first-period goals but the Force took the lead scoring the first three goals in the second period.

J.P. Turner scored a 6:03 on an assist from Kyle Smolen, and Charlie Russell tied it 2-1/2 minutes later on assists from Cole Knuble and Brasen Broser. Mac Swanson put Fargo ahead 3-2 with a goal at 13:57 from Leo Gruba and Link.

Sioux City's Kaden Shahan forced OT with a goal at 18:08.

Fargo goalie Matej Marinov faced 30 shots on goal and made 27 stops.

The Force play at Sioux Falls at 6:05 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15.
