The Lancers started off sharp and took the lead right after the puck drop with Morgan Winters scoring at 3:55, goal assisted by Michael Cameron.

The Black Hawks tied it back up at 8:29 of the period, after a Ray Fust goal assisted by Garrett Schifsky and Ben Robertson.

The Black Hawks also took the lead at 15:34 of the period, after a Mason McCormick goal assisted by Patrick Geary and Sam Rinzel.

Evan Werner scored at 2:47 into the second, assisted by Cam Mitchell, to give the Lancers the lead.

The Lancers dominated the third period, receiving goals from Morgan Winters (2), Evan Werner (2) and Cam Mitchell. The final goal came with 01.01 left to play.

The Black Hawks were called for eight penalty minutes, while the Lancers spent four minutes in the penalty box.
