Team USA wins against Cedar Rapids RoughRiders – despite deficit

Ahead of the final period, the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders led 3-2. However, Team USA changed things in its favor and won. The game ended 4-3.

Team USA's Noah LaPointe scored the game-winning goal.

The hosting team took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from Max Plante. Lucas Van Vliet and Brendan McMorrow assisted.

The Team USA increased the lead to 2-0 late into the first when Lucas Van Vliet scored, assisted by Max Plante.

The RoughRiders scored three goals in second period an held the lead 3-2 going in to the second break.

Brendan McMorrow tied the game 3-3 halfway through the third period, assisted by Lucas Van Vliet and Max Plante.

Noah LaPointe took the lead just one minute later.
