The Fighting Saints came back and made it 2-2 after William Hallén found the back of the net in the period.

The Fighting Saints came back once again, making it 3-3 after Kenny Connors scored in the period.

In the third, Shawn O'Donnell scored in the first minute of the third period, assisted by Michael Feenstra, and got the win. With that, the Dubuque Fighting Saints turned the game around. The 4-3 goal would be the last one of the game.

Both teams were called for eight penalties.
