Stramel's two goals give Team USA the win

Team USA beat the visiting Green Bay Gamblers on Sunday, ending 10-1.

The Team USA dominated the first period, receiving goals from Charlie Stramel, Ryan Leonard, Cutter Gauthier and Tyler Duke.

The Team USA scored again, making it 5-0 with a goal from Frank Nazar III after 2:01 in the second period.

The Gamblers narrowed the gap to 5-1 after Ryan Greene beat the goalie in the period.

The Team USA took the lead 6-1 again when Cole Spicer found the back of the net after 19:37 in the period.

The Team USA continued to be dominant in the third period and won 10-1 in the end. The goals in the final period were scored by Lane Hutson, Isaac Howard, Rutger McGroarty and Charlie Stramel.

The Team USA were whistled for 21 penalty minutes, while the Gamblers spent 4 minutes in the penalty box.

The Team USA travel to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. CST at Cedar Rapids Ice Arena. The Gamblers visit Team USA to play the Team USA on Friday at 7:05 p.m. CST at Resch Center.
