Storm claim ninth straight home win

Home does it for the Tri-City Storm, and on Friday they beat the Sioux Falls Stampede 4-0 and made it nine successive home wins.

The first period was scoreless.

It wasn't until 12:50 into the second period that the Storm took the lead when Graham Gamache scored the first goal goal assisted by Gavin Brindley.

The Storm started the third period strong, receiving goals from Mitchell Miller (2) and Vincent Borgesi.

Both teams were called for 24 penalty minutes.

The teams now have the chance to fine-tune their tactics, as they play each other again in the next matchup on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. CST at Viaero Center.
