The Gamblers opened strong, taking the lead when Cameron Lund scored the first goal after 17:23, but the Steel's Sam Lipkin tied it up at the end of the period.
The Gamblers scored once again, making it 2-1 with a goal from Cameron Lund after 8:34 in the second period.
The Steel came back and made it 2-2 after Nicholas Moldenhauer found the back of the net in the period.
The Steel dominated the third period, receiving goals from Joe Miller, Jack Harvey and Nicholas Moldenhauer (2). The final goal came with 01.12 left to play.

The Steel were called for 12 penalties, while the Gamblers spent eight minutes in the penalty box.
