Steel win against Capitols – despite deficit

The first period was scoreless.
It wasn't until 7:55 into the second period that the Steel took the lead when Nicholas Moldenhauer opened the scoring goal assisted by Andon Cerbone and Luca Fantilli.
Jake Dunlap scored at 13:18 into the second, assisted by Nicholas Wallace and Brandon Chabrier, to give the Capitols the lead.
In the second, Nick DeSantis scored a goal at 19:41, assisted by Nicholas Wallace and Brandon Chabrier, increasing the lead to 2-1 for the Capitols.

But the Steel made four straight goals and went from trailing 2-1 to leading 5-2. The final goal came with 43 seconds remaining in the game. With that the team claimed an easy win.
The Steel were whistled for just eight penalty minutes, while the Capitols spent 25 minutes in the penalty box.
These teams will soon play each other again in the next matchup on Friday at 7:05 p.m. CST at Bob Suter's Capitol Ice Arena.
