The game-winning goal was scored by Chicago Steel's Lukas Gustafsson.

The Phantoms started off well with a 2-0 lead with two quick goals from Trey Taylor and Nick Williams.

Jackson Blake scored within the first minute of the period, assisted by Sam Lipkin, to give the Steel the lead.

Joe Miller then tallied a goal early in the period, cutting the deficit to 2-2. Sam Lipkin and Adam Fantilli assisted.

The third period was scoreless, bringing the game into overtime.

In overtime, it took 2:04 before Lukas Gustafsson scored the game-winner for the road team, assisted by Jackson Blake.

The Phantoms were whistled for six penalties, while the Steel received four penalties.
