The Storm took the lead at 17:43 in the first period, with a goal scored by Jeremy Wilmer. Matt Basgall assisted on the play.
The Storm took the lead 2-0 when Graham Gamache scored with 08.26 remaining in the second period and took firm control of the game.
The Stars narrowed the gap to 2-1 after Lucas Wahlin netted one in the period.
In the third period, Yu Sato scored 12 minutes into the third period, assisted by Joey Pierce and Doug Grimes, to tie the game.

In overtime, it took 3:56 before Lucas Wahlin scored the game-winner for the home team, assisted by Joaquim Lemay and Mason Marcellus.
The Stars were whistled for 10 penalty minutes, while the Storm received 12 minutes.
Next up, Stars face the Omaha Lancers at 7:05 p.m. CST at Ice Box, while Storm face the Sioux City Musketeers home at 7:05 p.m. CST at Viaero Center. Both games are scheduled for Friday.
