The Force narrowed the gap to 2-1 after German Yavash netted one in the third period.
The Stampede scored again, making it 3-1 with a goal from Ryan Healey after 4:21 in the period.

Andre Gasseau narrowed the gap somewhat, but the Force didn't come any closer than 3-2.
The Force were called for six penalty minutes, while the Stampede received eight minutes.
