The Steel tied the game 1-1 in the first period when Jack Harvey scored, assisted by Michael Emerson.

The Steel took the lead in the first period when Jayden Perron scored, assisted by Anthony Dowd and Nicholas Moldenhauer.

The Steel's Jake Livanavage increased the lead to 3-1 with a minute left in the first, assisted by Cameron Johnson.

Two goals were scored in the second period, and the Steel led 5-1 going in to the third period.

Mick Thompson increased the lead to 6-1 early into the third period, assisted by Nolan Joyce and Chris Able.

Barrett Hall narrowed the gap to 6-2 late in the third, assisted by Eli Sebastian and Jimmy Clark.

The Gamblers narrowed the gap again with a minute left in the third when Jimmy Clark scored, assisted by Nicholas VanTassell.
