The Musketeers took the lead at 15:09 into the first period, with a goal scored by Ben Steeves. Damien Carfagna assisted on the play.
Ben Steeves scored at 23 seconds into the second, assisted by Owen McLaughlin, to give the Musketeers the lead.
The Sioux City Musketeers scored two more goals in the third period to take a commanding lead.
The Stars narrowed the gap to 4-1 after Doug Grimes found the back of the net in the third period.

The Musketeers managed to decide the game 5-1 with one second left when Garrett Brown scored.
The Stars were called for 18 penalty minutes, while the Musketeers spent 24 minutes in the penalty box.
On Sunday, Stars face the Tri-City Storm at 3:05 p.m. CST at Ice Box and Musketeers take on the Sioux Falls Stampede home at 3:05 p.m. CST at Tyson Events Center.
