Musketeers clinch series vs Capitols after overtime thriller

The 2-1 win on road in a game that went to overtime, sealed the series for the Sioux City Musketeers against the Madison Capitols. The result means Sioux City won in 3-1 games.

The game-winning goal was scored by Sioux City's Nick Pierre.

The first two periods were scoreless.

The Musketeers made it 1-0 again with a goal from Charlie Schoen with 08.20 remaining in the third period.

The Capitols came back and made it 1-1 after Luke Mittelstadt opened the scoring in the period.

In overtime, it took 5:48 before Nick Pierre scored the game-winner for the away team, assisted by Grant Slukynsky.
