The Musketeers had a good start to the game. They took a 2-0 lead after goals from Kirklan Irey and Dylan James before the Black Hawks replied and made it 2-1 when Gavin O’Connell opened the scoring.
The Black Hawks also tied the score at 2-2 when James Hong netted one in the beginning of the second period in the second period.
The Musketeers scored again, making it 3-2 with a goal from Ben Steeves with 01.19 remaining in the period.
The third period was scoreless as the Musketeers held on to their 3-2 lead and won.

The Musketeers were called for 22 penalty minutes, while the Black Hawks just received 10 minutes.
Both teams are back in action on Saturday, as the Musketeers host the Sioux Falls Stampede at 6:05 p.m. CST at Tyson Events Center and the Black Hawks visit the Lincoln Stars at 6:05 p.m. CST at Ice Box.
