The hosting team took the lead in the first period, with a goal scored by Sacha Boisvert. David Hymovitch assisted.

Four goals were scored in the second period, and the Lumberjacks led 3-2 going in to the third period.

Tyler Dunbar scored with just 40 seconds left, assisted by Gavin McCarthy, increasing the lead for the Lumberjacks.

Tyler Hotson scored a goal eight minutes later, assisted by Matvei Gridin and Gavin McCarthy, increasing the lead for the Lumberjacks.
