Lumberjacks win in overtime against Steel
With no decisive score in regulation, the Chicago Steel's home game against the Muskegon Lumberjacks ran into overtime on Friday. Muskegon snatched the win with a final score of 5-4.

With no decisive score in regulation, the Chicago Steel's home game against the Muskegon Lumberjacks ran into overtime on Friday. Muskegon snatched the win with a final score of 5-4.
The game-winning goal was scored by Muskegon's Ethan Whitcomb.
The first period was scoreless.
Within the first minute of the second period, the Steel took the lead when Zam Plante scored the first goal assisted by Anthony Dowd and Dylan Robbins.
Jack Williams scored early into the second period, assisted by Quinn Hutson and Jacob Guevin, to give the Lumberjacks the lead.

Jake Richard then tallied a goal with a minute left in the second period, cutting the deficit to 2-1. Tyler Dunbar and Ben Strinden assisted.
In the third, Jayden Perron scored one minute into the third period, assisted by Andon Cerbone and Sam Lipkin, to tie the game.
In the third, Lukas Gustafsson scored a goal in the fifth minute of the period, giving the Steel 3-2 a lead.
In the third, Sam Lipkin scored a goal nine minutes into the period, assisted by Luca Fantilli, increasing the lead for the Steel.
In the third period, Jake Richard scored his second goal in the 12th minute of the period, assisted by Ben Strinden and Ethan Whitcomb, closing the gap for the Lumberjacks.
In the third period, Quinn Hutson scored a goal 14 minutes into the period, assisted by David Hymovitch and Jack Williams, to tie the game for the Lumberjacks. With this goal, the score was tied and then, the game went to overtime.
In overtime, it took 1:48 before Ethan Whitcomb scored the game-winner for the away team, assisted by Jake Richard and Jacob Guevin.
The Lumberjacks have now won four games in a row.
