Lincoln Stars score twice in the third to beat Sioux City Musketeers

The Lincoln Stars defeated the Sioux City Musketeers 5-3. The game was tied after two periods, but Lincoln pulled away in the third to claim a victory.

The Stars opened strong, with Doug Grimes scoring in the first minute, a goal assisted by Mason Marcellus and Antonio Fernandez.

The Musketeers tied the score 1-1 early into the first period when Dylan Godbout scored the first goal, assisted by Kaden Shahan and Cole Longacre.

Four goals were scored in the second period with the score being tied at 3-3 going in to the second break.

Cole Crusberg-Roseen took the lead halfway through the third period, assisted by Jared Mangan and Klavs Veinbergs.

Daniel Sambuco increased the lead to 5-3 eight minutes later.
