The hosting team took the lead early in the first period, a goal by Keaton Peters. Daniel Sambuco and Jack Larrigan assisted.
The Des Moines Buccaneers players tied the game 1-1 with a goal from Henry Bartle with a minute left into the first, assisted by Ethan Fredericks.
The Lincoln Stars players took the lead early in the second period when Patrick Raftery found the back of the net, assisted by Boston Buckberger and Antonio Fernandez.

Four minutes into the period, the Des Moines Buccaneers players made it 2-2 with a goal from Michael Bevilacqua.
Christian Kocsis took the lead in the middle of the third period, assisted by Chase Ramsay.
Doug Grimes tied the game 3-3 four minutes later, assisted by Adam Kleber and Tanner Ludtke.
The Lincoln Stars players took the lead with 01.58 of play remaining into the third after a goal from Boston Buckberger, assisted by Mason Marcellus and Doug Grimes.
This makes an impressive four straight victories for the Lincoln Stars players.
