The Team USA defeated the hosting Cedar Rapids RoughRiders 6-3 on Saturday.

The Team USA had a good start to the game. They took a 2-0 lead after goals from Cole Eiserman and Jame Hagens before the RoughRiders replied and made it 2-1 when Eric Pohlkamp opened the scoring.

The Team USA made it 3-1 again with a goal from Kristian Epperson at 2:10 into the second period.

The RoughRiders narrowed the gap to 3-2 after Ryan Walsh netted one in the period.

The Team USA scored again, making it 4-2 with a goal from Teddy Stiga with 04.54 remaining in the period.

The Team USA took the lead 5-2 when Dakoda Rheaume-Mullen scored after 6:14 in the third period.

The RoughRiders came back once again, making it 5-3 after Isaac Johnson found the back of the net in the period.

The Team USA managed to decide the game 6-3 with three seconds left when Jame Hagens beat the goalie.
