The Green Bay Gamblers won the road game against the Madison Capitols 5-3 on Friday.

The Green Bay Gamblers won the road game against the Madison Capitols 5-3 on Friday.

The Capitols opened strong, with Nick Wallace scoring early in the first period, a goal assisted by Quinn Finley and Miko Matikka.

The Gamblers tied the score 1-1 in the first period when Jayden Davis opened the scoring, assisted by Peter Kramer.

The Capitols took the lead halfway through the first when Peter Cisar scored, assisted by Tyler Grahme and Jan Olenginski.

The Gamblers scored three goals in second period an held the lead 4-2 going in to the second break.

Miko Matikka narrowed the gap to 4-3 early into the third period, assisted by Quinn Finley and Andrew Kuzma.

Michael DeAngelo increased the lead to 5-3 nine minutes later, assisted by Raimonds Vitolins and Jacob Martin.
