The Muskegon Lumberjacks players took the lead in the first period, a goal by Ethan Whitcomb. Tyler Hotson and Jake Richard assisted.
The Muskegon Lumberjacks' players Nicholas Rexine increased the lead to 2-0 late into the first period, assisted by Gavin McCarthy and Payton Nelson.
The Green Bay Gamblers players narrowed the gap to 2-1 late in the first when Barrett Hall scored, assisted by Artyom Levshunov.
The second period ended with a 4-3 lead for the Green Bay Gamblers players.

Artyom Levshunov increased the lead to 5-3 in the middle of the third period, assisted by Eli Sebastian.
Jimmy Clark increased the lead to 6-3 four minutes later, assisted by James Duerr and Peter Kramer.
