Force win at home against Stampede

The Fargo Force claimed both points when they hosted the Sioux Falls Stampede on Friday. The final score was 5-3.
The hosting Force started off strong and took the lead right after the beginning of the game with Trevor Griebel scoring early in the first period, assisted by Max Smolinski and Ryan Alexander.
The Stampede tied the score at 1-1 when Sam Harris beat the goalie in the beginning of the second period in the second period.
The Force made it 2-1 again with a goal from Andre Gasseau at 6:08 into the period.
The Stampede tied the score at 2-2 when Max Rud scored in the beginning of the third period in the third period.

But the Fargo Force quickly scored two more goals in the third period to take a commanding lead.
The Stampede closed the gap to 4-3 with a goal from Jack Reimann with just two minutes left on the clock, adding some tension late in the game.
The Force managed to decide the game 5-3 with 01.08 left when Tyler Rollwagen netted one.
The Force have now won four straight home games.
The teams meet again on Saturday, April 23 at 6:05 p.m. CST, this time in Sioux Falls at Denny Sanford Premier Center.
