Fargo Force win on the road against Omaha Lancers

The Fargo Force won when they visited the Omaha Lancers on Saturday. The final score was 6-3.

The Fargo Force won when they visited the Omaha Lancers on Saturday. The final score was 6-3.

The Force started off strong and took the lead right after the puck drop with Cole Knuble scoring in the first minute, a goal assisted by Mac Swanson.

The Force scored three goals in second period an held the lead 4-2 going in to the second break.

Bret Link increased the lead to 5-2 in the third period, assisted by Mac Swanson and Jakob Stender.

Logan Morrell narrowed the gap to 5-3 seven minutes later, assisted by Tanner Rowe.

The Force increased the lead to 6-3 with 58 seconds remaining of the third period after a goal from Cole Knuble, assisted by Anthony Menghini and Joe Palodichuk.

The teams now have the chance to fine-tune their tactics, as they play each other again in the next matchup on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. CST at Liberty First Credit Union Arena.
