The Fargo Force won when they visited the Sioux Falls Stampede on Thursday. The final score was 7-2.

The hosting Force opened strong, with Kevin Scott scoring in the first minute, a goal assisted by Cole Knuble and Bret Link.

The Force increased the lead to 2-0 in the first period when Mac Swanson scored, assisted by Verner Miettinen and Brasen Boser.

The Force's Reid Conn increased the lead to 3-0 halfway through the first period, assisted by Cole Knuble.

The Stampede narrowed the gap to 3-1 with a goal from Maddox Fleming in the middle of the first, assisted by Nick Ring and Samuel Harris.

The Force scored three goals in second period an held the lead 6-1 going in to the second break.

Samuel Harris narrowed the gap to 6-2 in the middle of the third period, assisted by Evan Murr.

Kyle Smolen increased the lead to 7-2 six minutes later, assisted by Brasen Boser and Anthony Menghini.
