The Force took the lead with a minute left into the first period, with a goal from Bret Link. Mac Swanson assisted.
The Force increased the lead to 2-0 early in the second period when Mac Swanson netted one, assisted by Joe Palodichuk and Charlie Russell.
Late, the Force made it 3-0 with a goal from German Yavash.
Lancers' Aleksi Kivioja tallied a goal late, making the score 3-1. Nate Benoit assisted.
The Lancers narrowed the gap again with a goal from Marcus Broberg, assisted by Alex Bump at 9:39 into the third period.
Ty Henricks increased the lead to 4-2 just one minute later.
Charlie Lurie narrowed the gap to 4-3 six minutes later, assisted by Alex Bump.
The Force increased the lead to 5-3 with 01.15 remaining of the third period after a goal from Charlie Russell, assisted by Anthony Menghini.
Both teams were called for six penalties.
