The Tri-City Storm's strong form continues, and on Saturday they beat the Omaha Lancers 4-1 at home. The result means they now have eight successive home wins.

The hosting team took the lead at 8:22 into the first period, with a goal scored by Cole O'Hara. Gavin Brindley assisted on the play.

The Lancers started the second period strongly and tied the game at 1-1 when Evan Werner beat the goalie after 2:59.

After that though, it was mostly about the Storm. The Tri-City Storm regained the lead after 12:47, and eventually pulled ahead with a 4-1 victory.

The third period was scoreless as the Storm held on to their 4-1 lead and won.

The Storm were whistled for 16 penalty minutes, while the Lancers spent 14 minutes in the penalty box.

Both teams play again on Friday, as the Storm host the Sioux Falls Stampede at 7:05 p.m. CST at Viaero Center and the Lancers host the Fargo Force at Scheels Arena.
