The visiting Phantoms started off strong and took the lead right after the beginning of the game with Tyler Catalano scoring in the first period, a goal assisted by Chase Pietila and Jake Rozzi.
The Steel tied the game 1-1 with a goal from Jayden Perron halfway through the first period, assisted by Mack Celebrini and Michael Emerson.
In overtime, it took 2:00 before Michael Emerson scored the game-winner for the home team, assisted by Jake Livanavage and Jack Harvey.
