Capitols tie series with win over Lumberjacks

The Madison Capitols won 3-1 at home against the Muskegon Lumberjacks. The series is now tied at 2-2 and the next game will be the decider.

The Madison Capitols won 3-1 at home against the Muskegon Lumberjacks. The series is now tied at 2-2 and the next game will be the decider.

The first period was scoreless.

The Capitols dominated the second period, with goals from Nick DeSantis, Ben Dexheimer and Quinn Finley.

In the third period, Quinn Hutson scored 11 minutes into the third period, assisted by Joey Larson, closing the gap for the Lumberjacks.

The teams will soon play again for Game 5 on Thursday, May 12 at 6 p.m. CST at Mercy Health Arena.
