But the Capitols made three straight goals and went from 1-0 to 3-1.
The Capitols then claimed three straight goals in the beginning of the third period as the team increased their lead from 3-1 to 6-1 in just 3:21.
The Lumberjacks narrowed the gap scoring 6-2 and 6-3 after Jacob Braccini och Ben Strinden found the back of the net in the period.

The Lumberjacks came back once again, making it 7-4 after Owen Mehlenbacher beat the goalie in the period.
The Capitols managed to decide the game 8-4 with 02.47 left when Kyle Kukkonen netted one.
