The hosting Buccaneers opened strong, as the game was just getting started with Scout Truman scoring at early into the period, goal assisted by Dovar Tinling and Lubomir Kupco.

The Des Moines Buccaneers quickly scored two more goals in the second period to take a commanding lead.

The Force narrowed the gap to 3-1 after Felikss Gavars found the back of the net in the second period.

The Buccaneers increased the lead to 4-1 with 02.00 of play remaining in the third period after a goal from Scout Truman, assisted by Dovar Tinling.

Scout Truman scored four goals for Buccaneers. Felikss Gavars got the goal for Force.
