The Musketeers opened strong, taking the lead early when Ben Steeves scored the first goal after 1:26, but the Black Hawks' Ray Fust tied it up in the middle in the period.

The Black Hawks went up 2-1 after late into the second period when Tucker Ness found his mark. With that, Ness completed the Waterloo Black Hawks' comeback.

In the third period, the Black Hawks held on to their 2-1 lead and won.
