Alex Bump made a name for himself in his final season for Prior Lake, shows no signs of slowing down

The former Lakers captain posted 48 goals and 35 assists this past year for his high school. His standout year has him ranked 63rd among all North American skaters by NHL Central Scouting in the 2022 NHL Draft.

PRIOR LAKE, Minn. — If you follow Minnesota high school hockey, then you've heard the name Alex Bump by now. If you haven't, you will soon enough.

Bump etched his name in with the greats that made a trip to the 2022 Minnesota high school hockey tournament when he posted five goals in the AA quarterfinal game against Cretin-Durham Hall. Now, Bump is proving that he wasn't a one hit wonder and that the success he has had in the game has only just begun.
