PLYMOUTH, Mich. — The USA National Team Development Program announced it's 2022 Under-17 evaluation camp roster. This list of players includes nine Minnesotans, the most players of any state.
These forty-seven players, all born in 2006, will head to Michigan from March 20-24 to play in multiple games to help determine who will be selected to the official NTDP U17 Roster for 2022-2023.
There will be five games total to narrow down the selection of players.
The players invited to the camp from Minnesota include:
- Brendan McMorrow of Lakeville (Benilde-St. Margaret's / Minnesota Blades 15O)
- Ben Miller of Woodbury (Hill-Murray / Minnesota Blades 15O)
- Max Plante of Hermantown (Hermantown HS/ Minnesota Blades 15O
- Brodie Ziemer of Carver (Shattuck-St. Mary's 15O)
- Logan Hensler of Woodbury (Hill-Murray / Minnesota Blades 15O)
- Adam Kleber of Chaska (Chaska HS/ Minnesota Blades 15O)
- Sam Laurila of Moorhead (Spuds Bantam AA)
- Will Skahan of Woodbury (St. Thomas Academy)
- John Whipple of Excelsior (Shattuck-St. Mary's 15O)
These players will be split up into two teams (Team Matthews and Team Kane), and will compete throughout the week next week at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth. Games will be streamed live through a subscription at HockeyTV.com.
