Wolverines win at home vs Magicians

The Magicians started the first period strongly and tied the game at 1-0 when Cam Boche opened the scoring after 8:39.

After that though, it was mostly about the Wolverines. The Anchorage Wolverines regained the lead after 14:41, and eventually pulled ahead with a 3-1 lead.

The Magicians narrowed the gap to 3-2 after Samuel Jacobs scored in the second period.

The Wolverines scored again, making it 4-2 with a goal from Aiden Westin after 5:50 in the period.

The Magicians came back once again, making it 4-3 after Ben Anderson beat the goalie in the period.

The Wolverines took the lead 5-3 again when Aiden Westin netted one with 04.48 remaining in the period.

The Wolverines continued to be dominant in the third period and won 7-3 in the end. The goals in the final period were scored by Cameron Morris and Kory Diponio.

The Wolverines were whistled for 29 penalties, while the Magicians received 27 penalties.

The teams will soon play again in the next matchup on Friday, April 5 at 10 p.m. CST at Ben Boeke Ice Arena.
