The Wisconsin Windigo picked up a decisive home win against the Janesville Jets. The game ended in a shutout, 3-0.

The Wisconsin Windigo picked up a decisive home win against the Janesville Jets. The game ended in a shutout, 3-0.

The first period was scoreless, and halfway through the second period, the Windigo took the lead when Connor Mahony scored the first goal assisted by Chris Kernan and Mario DiMaggio.

The Windigo increased the lead to 2-0 early in the third period when Chris Kernan beat the goalie, assisted by Will Schumacher and Luke Levandowski.

In the end the 3-0 came from Connor Mahony who increased the Windigo's lead, assisted by Cashen Naeve and Axel Begley, late into the third. That left the final score at 3-0.

The Windigo host the Chippewa Steel in the next game on the road on Friday at 6 p.m. CST at Eagle River Sports Arena. The same day, the Jets will host the Wilderness at 7:15 p.m. CST at Northwoods Credit Union Arena.
