The Jr. Bues opened strong, with Hayden Riva scoring right at the start, after only 21 seconds, a goal assisted by Isaac Keller.
The Brown Bears tied the score 1-1 in the first period when Casper Conradsson Kelvgaard scored the first goal, assisted by Ashton Christman.
The Jr. Bues' Noah Marino took the lead with a minute left into the first period, assisted by Andrew Schultz.
Lucca Munoz scored early in the second period, assisted by Hayden Riva.
Ashton Christman narrowed the gap to 3-2 halfway through the third period, assisted by Hunter Newhouse.
The Brown Bears were called for four penalties, while the Jr. Bues received seven penalties.
