Wilderness grab extra point in overtime against Bobcats

The Bismarck Bobcats and the visiting Minnesota Wilderness tied 1-1 in regulation on Saturday. Minnesota Wilderness beat Bismarck in overtime 2-1.

The Bismarck Bobcats and the visiting Minnesota Wilderness tied 1-1 in regulation on Saturday. Minnesota Wilderness beat Bismarck in overtime 2-1.

The game-winning goal was scored by Minnesota Wilderness' Joe Cesario.

The hosting team took the lead in the first period, with a goal scored by Vertti Jantunen. Evan Hunter and Michael Neumeier assisted.

In the third period, Adam Johnson scored with just 33 seconds left, assisted by Jack Seaverson, to tie the game for the Wilderness. With this goal, the score was tied and then, the game went to overtime.

In overtime, it took 1:17 before Joe Cesario scored the game-winner for the road team, assisted by Ren Morque.
