Trailing in third period – Kenai River Brown Bears win nevertheless

The road team Anchorage Wolverines held the grip before the third period to lead with 2-1 in the game. The Kenai River Brown Bears, however, managed to turn the game around and win 4-2.

The road team Anchorage Wolverines held the grip before the third period to lead with 2-1 in the game. The Kenai River Brown Bears, however, managed to turn the game around and win 4-2.

The Brown Bears took the lead halfway through the first period, with a goal from Caleb Huffman. Joe Manning and Owen Hanson assisted.

The Wolverines' Fedya Nikolayenya tied the game 1-1 in the middle of the first, assisted by Jackson Reineke and Logan Lyke.

The Wolverines made it 2-1 in the middle of the second period when Kory Diponio scored, assisted by Gage Brown and Shane Soderwall.

Garett Drotts tied the game 2-2 early in the third period, assisted by Hunter Newhouse and Luke Hause.

Garett Drotts took the lead nine minutes later, assisted by Hunter Newhouse.

Kotaro Tsutsumi increased the lead to 4-2 two minutes later, assisted by Ashton Christman and Garett Drotts.
