Tough game ends in victory for Brahmas
The game between the New Mexico Ice Wolves and the Lone Star Brahmas was unpredictable. Home team New Mexico Ice Wolves held the lead with 2-1 at the beginning of the third period, but Lone Star Brahmas turned the course around and finally won with 4-3.

The game-winning goal was scored by Lone Star Brahmas' Ray Murakami.
The Brahmas took the lead late in the period into the first period, with a goal scored by Matt McQuade. Cole Beilke and Tyler Nasca assisted.
Dillan Bentley scored within the first minute of the period, assisted by Joe Prouty and Sully Scholle, to give the Ice Wolves the lead.
Sully Scholle made it 2-1, after a second-period goal late into the period, assisted by Brandon Holt and Joe Prouty.

In the third, Ryan Prewitt scored one minute into the third period, assisted by Matt McQuade, to tie the game.
In the third, Tanner Daniels scored a goal in the third minute of the period, assisted by Luke Beerman, giving the Brahmas 3-2 a lead.
In the third period, Dillan Bentley scored his second goal in the sixth minute of the period, assisted by Joe Prouty, to tie the game for the Ice Wolves.
In the third period, Ray Murakami scored a goal 11 minutes into the period, assisted by Artur Turansky, and got the win. That left the final score at 4-3.
The Ice Wolves were whistled for 47 penalties, while the Brahmas received 34 penalties.
Both teams are back in action on Friday, April 5, with Ice Wolves hosting the Odessa Jackalopes at 8:30 p.m. CST at Outpost Ice Arenas and Brahmas visiting the Corpus Christi IceRays at 7:30 p.m. CST at NYTEX Sports Centre.
