Titans grab extra point in overtime against Black Bears

The hosting Titans opened strong, as the game was just getting started with Anthony Calafiore scoring at 56 seconds, goal assisted by Chris Carroll and Levente Keresztes.

The Black Bears tied it back up at 12:41 of the period, after a Tyler Young goal assisted by Elliott Lareau and Ryan Bottrill.

The Black Bears also took the lead at 18:47 of the period, after another goal assisted by Jack Blanchett and Jesse Horacek.

Tyler Young scored at 7:47 into the second, assisted by Branden Piku and Jacob Brockman, to give the Black Bears the lead.

In the third, Michael Young scored three minutes into the third period, assisted by Levente Keresztes and Ryan Coughlin, closing the gap for the Titans.

The Titans tied the score 3-3 with 01.01 of play remaining after a goal from Brendan Dumas, assisted by Jack Karlsson and Tyler Sanborn.

In overtime, it took 3:07 before Levente Keresztes scored the game-winner for the home team, assisted by Chris Carroll and David Posma.

The Titans were called for just four penalty minutes, while the Black Bears received 10 minutes.

The Titans have now won six games in a row.
