The Aberdeen Wings defeated the visiting Odessa Jackalopes 5-2. The game was all square after two periods but in the third Aberdeen managed to pull out a win.

The Jackalopes opened strong, taking the lead early when Dayne Hoyord scored the first goal after only 23 seconds, but the Wings' Ronan Walsh tied it up at the end of the period.

The Wings scored again, making it 2-1 with a goal from Nikolai Tishkevich after 9:42 in the second period.

The Jackalopes came back and made it 2-2 after Ryan Mansfield found the back of the net in the period.

The Wings dominated the third period, with three quick goals from Barron Stibbe, Zachary Reim and Alexander Gullichsen. The final goal came with 57 seconds left to play.
