The visiting Hat Tricks opened strong, as the game was just getting started with Lucas Di Chiara scoring at 2:30, goal assisted by Roberts Andersons and Boris Skalos.

The Hat Tricks increased the lead to 2-0 quickly. At 5:36 Gabe Dombrowski struck, goal assisted by Jazz Krivtsov and Boris Skalos.

At 7:32 in the first period Jacob Badal struck a goal, assisted by David Wilcox and Zachary Murray and narrowed the gap for the Tomahawks.

The Tomahawks tied it back up at 12:42 of the period, after another goal assisted by Frank Jenkins and Braedon Ford.

The Tomahawks also took the lead at 18:07 of the period, after a Jake Black goal.

The Hat Tricks tied the score at 3-3 when Roberts Andersons netted one in the beginning of the second period in the second period.

But the Johnstown Tomahawks quickly scored two more goals in the second period to take a commanding lead.

The Hat Tricks narrowed and then closed the gap at 5-5 with goals from Logan Nickerson and Hunter Mccurdy.
