Three points for Tomahawks after third-period-win
The Johnstown Tomahawks defeated the visiting Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks 8-6. The game was all square after two periods but in the third Johnstown managed to pull out a win.
The Johnstown Tomahawks defeated the visiting Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks 8-6. The game was all square after two periods but in the third Johnstown managed to pull out a win.
The visiting Hat Tricks opened strong, as the game was just getting started with Lucas Di Chiara scoring at 2:30, goal assisted by Roberts Andersons and Boris Skalos.
The Hat Tricks increased the lead to 2-0 quickly. At 5:36 Gabe Dombrowski struck, goal assisted by Jazz Krivtsov and Boris Skalos.
At 7:32 in the first period Jacob Badal struck a goal, assisted by David Wilcox and Zachary Murray and narrowed the gap for the Tomahawks.
The Tomahawks tied it back up at 12:42 of the period, after another goal assisted by Frank Jenkins and Braedon Ford.

The Tomahawks also took the lead at 18:07 of the period, after a Jake Black goal.
The Hat Tricks tied the score at 3-3 when Roberts Andersons netted one in the beginning of the second period in the second period.
But the Johnstown Tomahawks quickly scored two more goals in the second period to take a commanding lead.
The Hat Tricks narrowed and then closed the gap at 5-5 with goals from Logan Nickerson and Hunter Mccurdy.
The Tomahawks made it 6-5 with a goal from Zachary Murray with 02.56 remaining in the period.
The Hat Tricks came back and made it 6-6 after Robert Hyde scored in the period.
The Tomahawks scored in the third, receiving goals from Cole Bianchin and Jake Black (3). The final goal came with 03.04 left to play.
The Tomahawks were whistled for 14 penalty minutes, while the Hat Tricks spent 10 minutes in the penalty box.

The Tomahawks travel to the Jamestown Rebels on Friday at 6:05 p.m. CST at Northwest Arena. The Hat Tricks host the New Jersey Titans to play the Titans on Thursday at 10 a.m. CST at Middletown Ice World Arena.
