The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks players took the lead late in the first period, a goal by Logan Nickerson. Luka Sukovic and Wyatt Stefan assisted.
The Maryland Black Bears players tied the game 1-1 with a goal from Christian Catalano late into the first, assisted by Sean Kilcullen and Jesse Horacek.

The Maryland Black Bears players increased the lead to 3-1 with 01.21 of play remaining into the third after a goal from Branden Piku, assisted by Sean Kilcullen and Trey Scott.
