Third period win for Rebels against Black Bears

The Maryland Black Bears and the visiting Jamestown Rebels were tied going into the third, but Maryland pulled away for a 2-1 victory in game action.
The hosting Black Bears took the lead at 16:44 into the first period, with a goal scored by Tyler Young. Connor Bennett and Laker Aldridge assisted on the play.
After that the game entered an indecisive standstill. Luke Devries scored at 18:13 into the second, assisted by Mitch Lafay, to give the Rebels the lead.
In the third, Lucas Klemm scored in the 6th minute of the third period, assisted by Ryan Waltman and Luke Devries, and got the win. With that, Klemm completed the Jamestown Rebels' comeback. That left the final score 2-1.
Both teams were called for 19 penalty minutes.

These teams meet again on Saturday at 6 p.m. CST, this time in Maryland at Piney Orchard Ice Arena.
