Strong win for Norsemen

The St. Cloud Norsemen picked up a decisive road win against the Wisconsin Windigo. The game ended in a shutout, 2-0.

The St. Cloud Norsemen picked up a decisive road win against the Wisconsin Windigo. The game ended in a shutout, 2-0.

The first period was scoreless.

Early into the second period, the Norsemen took the lead when Hogan Sinjem scored the first goal assisted by Evan Pahos and Daniel Murnieks.

The Norsemen increased the lead to 2-0 with 01.11 of play remaining in the third period after a goal from Kade Peterson, assisted by Tyler Dysart.

Next up, the Windigo face Fairbanks at 7 p.m. CST at Eagle River Sports Arena, while the Norsemen face Austin at home at 7 p.m. CST at St. Cloud Municipal Athletic Complex. Both games take place on Friday.
