The Mudbugs took the lead in the first period, with a goal scored by Garrett Steele. Ryan Burke and Matthew Danziger assisted.
Emerson Goode scored halfway through the second period, assisted by Dayne Hoyord and Josh Austin.
Sutton Murray scored in the third period, assisted by Eric Vitale and Nick LeVasseur, giving the Mudbugs 2-1 a lead.
The Mudbugs increased the lead to 3-1 with 22 seconds of play remaining in the third period after a goal from Logan Valkama, assisted by Drake Morse and Tristan Zarsky.
