The Chippewa Steel won their home game against the Minnesota Wilderness on Friday, ending 7-2.

The Steel dominated the first period, receiving goals from Kade Nielsen, Brady Yakesh and Jackson Bisson.

The Wilderness narrowed the gap scoring 3-1 and 3-2 after Cole Crusberg-Roseen och Haden Kruse netted one in the second period.

The Steel then claimed three straight goals in as the team increased their lead from 3-2 to 6-2 in just 7:15.

In the third period, Ryan Remick scored in the 13th minute of the third period, assisted by Kaden Shahan, increasing the lead for the Steel. The 7-2 goal was the last one of the game.
