Star-studded Maryland Black Bears win again in game against Johnstown Tomahawks

The Maryland Black Bears are hard to stop at the moment, and against the Johnstown Tomahawks on Friday, they claimed yet another victory. The game finished 3-1 and Maryland now has seven wins in a row.

The Maryland Black Bears are hard to stop at the moment, and against the Johnstown Tomahawks on Friday, they claimed yet another victory. The game finished 3-1 and Maryland now has seven wins in a row.

The Tomahawks took the lead early into the first period, with a goal from Johnny Ulicny. Ethan Perrault and Will Lawrence assisted.

The Black Bears tied the score 1-1 early in the second period when Dimitry Kebreau scored, assisted by Kal Essenmacher.

The Black Bears made it 2-1 six minutes into the period when Luke Van Why found the back of the net, assisted by Brayden Stannard.

Branden Piku then tallied a goal late, making the score 3-1. Brayden Stannard and Trey Scott assisted. With that, Piku completed the Maryland Black Bears' comeback.
